Family Pictures Take II

We decided it was time for some new family pictures--Jacob has changed a little in the last year!  We also decided it was time to get the dog involved.  For those of you who don't know Moose let me introduce.  He is about 2.5 year old, weighs around 80 lbs, and as my husband puts it, "has an enormous chest that isn't quite big enough for his huge heart, and everyone once in awhile (read all the time) it wiggles out of his control (his heart that is)."  He is spirited, loves people, especially kids, but he has no concept of his body mass or dimensions and try as hard as he might he still isn't very good about sit stays, or stays in general.

Add to that a rambunctious 1 year old, who has recently discovered how good he is at climbing, and you have a full plate.  As anyone who has ever tried to take pictures with young kids knows, it is almost impossible to get a shot where everyone is looking at the camera, let alone smiling!

When we left the studio my husband said, "We are never taking family pictures again, ever!"  And he meant it... for about an hour.

If you would like to see some of the results head on over to my talented cousins website: Tara Lynn Photography   Let me, and her know what you think!

She did an amazing job! A family picture with all looking at the camera is basically a miracle.

That second picture of Jacob...stunning! Those beautiful blue eyes are going to break hearts someday. Tell him Happy Birthday (late)!
